The Robert Raines Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution held their annual Christmas brunch Saturday, Dec. 14 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Navasota. For their service project, members signed Christmas cards to be delivered to active duty members of America’s armed forces. In lieu of a gift exchange, Carol Gessner led the group in singing Christmas carols accompanied by Laura Purcell on the keyboard.
