Future Pioneer and Cowboy

Two Navasota Rattler athletes signed to continue their education and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Drew Gonzales (above), the Rattler ace on the mound will continue his baseball career in Plainview at Waylon Baptist University playing for the Pioneers. Xavier Steptoe overcame plenty of odds through hard work on and off the gridiron. The receiver will continue playing football in Abilene at Hardin Simmons University for the Cowboys.
