GC Historic Commission attends conference

The Texas Historical Commission held its annual REAL PLACES 2023 Conference, in Austin, Feb. 1-3. Although the inclement weather impacted in-person attendance, sessions were available online and timely topics and presentations included various ways of "Preserving Historic Texas." Representing Grimes County Historical Commission were Susan Boudreaux and Marilyn Bettes. Pictured with them is State Historic Preservation Executive Director Mark Wolfe.
