GEAR UP visits University of Houston

Courtesy photo Navasota Junior High School sent 50 seventh grade students to visit The University of Houston Thursday, Nov. 21, as part of the GEAR UP grant. The students toured the university and learned a few facts and traditions along the way. They even had the chance to rub the paws of the cougar statues in Cullen Family Pizza. Students filled out a"mini college application" to attend and learn more about the application process.
