Retail slated for SH 6/FM 3090

The Navasota Planning and Zoning Commission met Thursday, July 14, and approved a replat application submitted by TCL Holdings, Inc. for the prop erties located at 7818 and 7908 Highway 6 Loop and 1514 Piedmont Road.

According to Development Services Director Lupe Diosdado, the proposed replat will enlarge to the west lots 1 and 2 (3.66 acres) which face the Highway 6 Loop and create a third lot (9.84 acres) on the corner of SH 6 and FM 3090 for future retail development.

In other action, commissioners approved the minutes of the June 9 meeting. Commissioners present were Dia Copeland, Debbie Hancock, James Harris and Todd Wisner. Carolyn Katkoski, Randy Peters and Dr. John Walla were absent.

Attending on behalf of the City were Diosdado, City Manager Jason Weeks and Permit Clerk Hattie Wells.
