Singing the Blues again!

Monday, June 24, Navasota city council members unanimously approved supporting the upcoming Navasota Blues Review by providing social media marketing assistance. Local musician Tubie Pushee is spearheading the event aimed at reviving Navasota’s “blues” community and its proud title as “Blues Capital of Texas.”

The Navasota Blues Review will be held August 10, 5 – 11 p.m., at the Junction Dancehall on South Business

6. Admission is $15 and the proceeds will benefit the City of Navasota Foundation for Community Projects.

Food fare will consist of barbecue sandwiches and tamales for sale from the Anderson Knights of Columbus, and music will be provided by the following local artists: The Paul James Band, Randy Pavlock and Twenty Four Seven, Eugene Eugene and Tubie and the Touchtones.
