Elizabeth “Lizzy” Dianne Greer, 9, of Millican, passed away Saturday, March 23, at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at noon Thursday, March 28, at Faith Outreach Christian Center in Navasota. Visitation with family and friends will be held an hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Pastor Henry Sanders will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Lizzy was born Nov. 24, 2009, in Bryan, Texas, to Kacey Greer. Lizzy was a healthy, happy baby. A typical little girl, who loved karaoke, glitter, playing dress-up and all things pink, purple, and gold – particularly Unicorns. More than four years ago she was diagnosed with cancer and with the determination and bravery of a soldier, she accepted the battle and fought gallantly until the end. Despite harsh odds, she was always positive and smiling. Lizzy will be missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by her mom, Kacey Greer of Millican; dad, Justin Deleon of Anderson; brothers, Nathan Perkins and Zayne Greer of Millican; grandparents, Ronnie Jr. and Traci Greer of Millican, Henry and Lei-Anne Deleon of Rosenberg and Annett and Wayne Hartman of Houston; and great-grandparents, Ronnie and Linda Greer of Millican, Cathy Long of Duncanville and Terry and Mary Sperling of Livingston.
