Funeral Services for Rudolph E. Henry, 90, of Navasota, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Missionary Camp Baptist Church, located at 9429 CR 423 in Navasota. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery on CR 412. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.

Rudolph Ellsworth Henry was born on September 2,1928, proud son of Felix and Caldonia Henry, in Navasota, Texas.

He attended Ball High School in Galveston and continued his education at Prairie View A&M University with a business degree. He was a member of Pilgrim Point Baptist Church for many years serving as one of the church deacons and the church treasurer. As a member of Navasota (Grimes County) he was a supporter on the Navasota Day Care Center Boys and Girls Club, Navasota Lions Club, chair for Navasota Housing Authority, Little Dribblers Organization, Toys for Tots and a member of the Speech Therapy Club of Bryan for many years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters (Hattie, Emma, Lara and Nettie) and brother George Henry.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his children Joyce Ester, Karen Michelle Bridges, and Caldonia Falls; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham, Texas.
