Mr. W. N. “Junior” Fabian, Jr., 94, of Navasota, passed away Sunday, February 9, at his home. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of his life will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, at First Baptist Church of Navasota with Rev. Clyde Larrabee presiding. A private family interment will follow in Apolonia Cemetery in Anderson. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Junior was born on April 13, 1925 in Houston, Texas to William Norris and Blanche Lucille (Bradford) Fabian, Sr. After 50 years, Junior retired from the dairy business and then went to work for Smith Bros Implement/ Coufal-Prator Implement Company for 31 years. He loved to work, not only because he had a strong work ethic, but because he genuinely loved people. Junior liked helping them, engaging with them and he never met a stranger. He was also a previous Grimes County Constable for Precinct 4 and president of the Apolonia Cemetery from 1976 until his death. Junior married Linda Lu Lightfoot in Navasota on April 8, 1989.

Junior is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Fabian; daughters and sons-in-law Linda Pederson, Lisa and Daniel Cherry and Lori and Carl Duncan; sons and daughter-in-law, John P. “Rusty” and Marian Fabian and Lane and Lara DeHaven; sister-in-law Dorothy Jean Fabian; grandchildren Luke, Sarah, Hanna and Eli Cherry, Travis, Emily, Brittany Stoker and Cody Duncan, Clayton Holliday, Kyla, Jake, Isaac and Andrew DeHaven, Matt Fabian and Tyler Pederson and great-grandchildren Miles, Aiden and Dawson.

Serving as pallbearers are Luke Cherry, Clayton Holliday, Lane DeHaven, Jake DeHaven, Tyler Pederson and Matt Fabian. Honorary pallbearers are Hollis Hood, Al Blue, Wayne Rucker, Don Lightfoot, Sam Cooke and Gary Fuqua.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Pat Fabian; grandson Michael Wade Pederson; and brothers Norris Bryan Fabian and William Ralph Fabian.
