WAYMON HENRY DAY

Waymon Henry Day, 86, of Iola, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019. Waymon Day was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Iola, to the late Jonas J. Day and Bessie Irene Corley Day.

He is also preceded in death by a sister, Lois Driver.

Waymon Henry Day is survived by a daughter, Donna Day of Montgomery; sons, Dennis W. Day of Conroe and Daryl R. Day of Montgomery; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Faye Day Yeager and husband Kenneth of Huntsville; brother, Jerry Day and wife Betty of Magnolia; and numerous other relatives along with special friend Kathryn Truehitt of Waco.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at the Bedias Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Gray officiating.

Southern Heritage Funeral Home of Bedias was in charge of arrangements.
