Iola High School junior, Lindsey Gooch, placed first with a time of 12:40 at the District 26-2A Cross Country meet in Caldwell Wednesday, Oct. 12. Her time was 24 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Gooch advances to the Regional Cross-Country meet at Texas A&M Corpus Christi Monday, Oct. 24. In 2021 Gooch advanced to state.
