Iola junior Lindsey Gooch was one of 151 girls that competed at the 2A Girls State Cross Country Meet at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock Friday, Nov. 4. Gooch placed 39^th with a time of 13:42.1. Emily Pharris of Shelbyville placed first with a time of 12:33.2.
