Lady Panthers ranked #10

The 16th ranked Richards Lady Panthers continue their successful season with a pair of wins over Hempstead and Snook.

Richards (16-7) began the with a 3-1 home win against the Hempstead Lady Bobcats (25-18, 25-15, 15-23, 25-7). “This was our overall best performance of the year,” said Lady Panther Coach Janice Hudson. Alyna Francis led the way with 21 kills. Kylie Bates had 35 assists and four aces.

On Friday, Sept. 9, the Lady Panthers defeated the Snook Lady Bluejays 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-16). Hudson said her team got off to a slow start but picked up the pace. Francis had 14 kills and Bates had 19 assists.

Richards hosts Somerville Friday, Sept. 16 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
