Lady Rattlers defeat Bulldogs, Tigers

Navasota picked up a pair of wins over Waller and Trinity during the Thanksgiving break to improve their record to 5-1.

The Lady Blue defeated Waller, 41-33, on the road Nov. 20. Senior Bryanna Stokes paced Navasota with 16 points. Rihanna Rush added 10 points and Miracle Montgomery grabbed nine rebounds.

Navasota’s junior varsity team fell to the Lady Bulldogs 20-36.

VS Trinity

Navasota dominated Trinity Nov. 21, to cruise to a 64-16 win. Stokes scored 15 points and had six steals. Rush scored 10. Montgomery and Jalyn Williams grabbed seven rebounds each.

The Lady Rattler JV fell 32-29.

Both Navasota teams were in action Tuesday, Nov. 28, hosting Giddings (results were not available at press time). The 2023 Rattler Shoot Out Classic is Thursday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 2 (see the attached tournament schedule).
