Preview

Navasota has struggled taking care of the ball in the first four games. They have faced a tough schedule but have been victim to self-destruction. Last year however the Rattlers also began 0-4 before picking up its first win against Furr. Navasota has displayed a tough defense and the passing game is improving weekly.

Furr has talented players but haven’t faced a particularly tough schedule. The teams they were supposed to beat they did so in dominant fashion. They rely on the run but have skilled receivers who can make big plays.

Keys to victory

Navasota must secure the ball on offense. If the Rattlers win the turnover battle, they should cruise to their first win. The Rattler defense is solid and will make it tough on the Furr offensive line.
