Rattler tennis begins fall season

The Navasota Rattler Tennis Team began its first fall tennis season Tuesday, Sept. 21, but fell to the Sealy Tigers.

Navasota freshman Kylie Ritter had a great showing in the number singles position. Ritter and junior McKenzie Crawford lost a close match in the number one girls’ doubles position.

Standouts for the boys were sophomore Julian Jennings playing in the number one boys’ singles position and freshman Ricardo Alvarado playing in the number seven boys’ singles position.

Round two of district play is on the road Thursday, Sept. 30, at Wharton.
