Richards Panthers win two

The Richards Lady Panthers picked up a pair of wins over BVCHEA and Trinity to improve to 9-6 on the season.

Richards opened the week Tuesday, Aug. 23 with a 3-2 win over the BVCHEA Mustangs (17-25, 26-24, 25-19, 23-25, 15-11). Alyna Francis had 22 kills in the game and Kyleigh Bates had 24 assists. Cadence Nance had four crucial serves win the fifth set with the game knotted 11-11.

On Friday, Aug. 26, the Lady Panthers knocked-off the Trinity Tigers 3-0. Nance and Chesney Calhoun each had three aces. Francis had 12 kills and Bates finished with 15 assists.

The Lady Panthers hosted Coldspring Tuesday, Aug. 30 (results were not available by press time).
