Patricia Ruth Hamilton 1954-2019

Patricia Ruth Hamilton, age 64, of Navasota, passed away on April 17, 2019. Pat was born in Navasota to Evelyn and Emory Shead on December 4, 1954.  She married Charles Hamilton on March 30, in Groveton, Texas and they have been happily married for 34 years. She volunteered at the local food bank and she treasured her monthly luncheons with her retirement friends from Montgomery County Appraisal District. Pat was a loving and caring friend and sister. She valued her time with her sister. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to Gwen and Erika and cherished the time she spent with them. 

Pat is preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Emory and is survived by her husband Charles, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Jerome Klawinsky, brother and sister-in-law Emory and Doris Shead, daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Patrick Tucker, her granddaughter Erika and her husband Bobby Parker, stepdaughter Amanda Hamilton Lewis and her daughter Kayla Scott and stepdaughter Becky.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Reverend Heather for her support and compassion. 

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon of Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Millican United Methodist Church (22029 Kathy Fleming Rd., Millican, Texas 77866).  Refreshments to follow at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Pat’s name to the United Methodist Church Millican.
