Mudcats heading to Nationals

Three local swimmers represented the Navasota Mud-cats in the Winter Games of Texas swim meets Jan. 18.

Briana Tejeda, Cory Baldobino and Maddox Parker competed in multiple events at the state-wide meet.

Tejeda swam the 50m freestyle, 100 IM, and the 50m breaststrokes. She placed third in breaststroke.

Baldobino competed in the 50m backstroke and the 50m butterfly. He placed third in the backstroke.

Parker swam the 50m backstroke, the 50m breaststroke and the 50m butterfly.

Tejeda and Baldobino move on to compete at The State Games of America in Des Moines, Iowa July 28, through Aug. 1, 2021.
