The Navasota High School graduate earned his lone victory June 9 through 10 games as of June 30 for the Washington Nationals’ Triple A affiliate.

The Rochester Red Wings right-hander allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings against Lehigh Valley and tied his season high of five strikeouts. The 28-year-old was named the Triple A East Pitcher of the Week.

Eppler, who started eight times, had an overall 1-5 record and 8.40 earned run average.

He is in his third season at the Triple A level, having played previously for the Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate.
