In the Aug. 17 edition article, “County proposes $1.75 per hour COLA” the statement “ Fauth’s original proposal of 5% was revised to $1.75 per hour with five lieutenant and sergeant positions in the Grimes County Sheriff ’s Office (GSCO) slated for an additional $2.25 per hour, ” should read Fauth’s original proposal of 5% was revised to $1.75 per hour with five lieutenant and sergeant positions in the Grimes County Sheriff’s Offi ce (GSCO) slated for $2.25 per hour.

In the July 27 city council article, “Dangerous animals, impact fees workshop,” under the sub header Impact Fees 101, the sentence, “ Impact fees are a one-time fee assessed by the developer for future development and relieve existing taxpayers for paying for growth,” should read, Impact fees are a onetime fee assessed the developer for future development and relieve existing taxpayers for paying for growth.
