Read moreThe St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will be holding their Memorial Day weekend annual bazaar Sunday, May 24 on the church grounds in Stoneham. The bazaar will be held in a modified form of the usual setup. Fr. Ed Kucera and the bazaar committee are working hard to make the best of a sad situation. Safe practices are in place so fun can be had by all. The auction will be under the open-air pavilion instead of in the hall. They will also have their raffle and a barbecue lunch will be handed to you in a to-go plate. Other changes will also vary from the original bazaar so plan to come out to support this church and check out the new changes for this year.

Read moreSaturday was Kaleigh’s birthday and her parents planned a party at Jordan’s house. The guests were seated in a circle outside in the beautiful weather. It was nice to finally meet more of her relatives. Kalem and Kristi Evans have shared Kaleigh with our family for several years now. We are very proud of her accomplishments. She recently was awarded a scholarship that will assist with funding for her continued education. Kaleigh is studying Special Education at Texas A&M University.

The people of Evergreen Baptist Church were among the area churches that did so. They passed out red roses to the mothers that were present. Also, the Mexican restaurant Juan and Linda’s passed out red roses to the women present. Good of them to do so. God bless all our mothers and bless the memory of those who have passed away.
