Darrell Hall neighborhood news: Grimes County Commissioner, Chad Mallett, said he received a response from the County Attorney. To create road districts, the roads in the district [each DH neighborhood located in Grimes County] must be a public road. Mallett said he and the County Attorney are still researching.

This was the second service for the happy couple. The first service on July 18 had limited attendance due to coronavirus. Following the wedding there was a reception. Read moreThe membership of Evergreen Baptist Church will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 22 with a special service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Hopefully all will go well with this special service. The church planned to celebrate the anniversary earlier but due to coronavirus it did not happen. If all goes well, the special event will be followed by a special meal. Turkey, dressing and other food will be provided. Hope everyone interested in the event will make plans to attend.
