Sunday, March 5 was an exciting day for Jessica Johnson as she was proposed to by Eric Wise at the Fort Worth Zoo. Jessica, a 2015 graduate of Anderson-Shiro and the daughter of Dennis and Pam Johnson, is currently a nurse in College Station. Eric, a 2016 graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and the son of Glenn and Cathey Wise of Arlington, is employed at SHSU. A fall wedding this year is being planned. The couple will make their home in Anderson.

Our daughter Ashleigh Krause gets the day off of work on her birthday, so she wanted to take their 2-year-old son Case to Cameron Zoo in Waco. Don and I, as well as her husband Tanner, went along on Thursday to enjoy the day also. After a fun couple of hours at the zoo, we dined at Ninfa’s then headed over to the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame Museum before heading back to Anderson. It was a fun-filled day.
