Many years ago, Fred Baldwin and Wendy Watriss spent time traveling in Grimes County. They took extensive photos of all sort of Grimes County people and events. They spent over 10-years (1972-1985) documenting and listening to the stories of people who settled and worked in Texas’s four different cultural frontiers from cotton to cattle ranching. They also took other photos of interest including funerals.
