Don and I, as well as our sister and brother-in-law, Joe and Denise Shead, left Saturday morning to visit Don and Denise’s uncle and aunt Harry and Flo Brennen at their home in Waxahachie. We always remember the date of Uncle Harry’s birthday. He will turn 93 on Sept. 11. The six of us enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Asian King Buffet, one of their favorite places to eat. Even though we ate until we were stuffed, we still had room for a cup of ice cream. After we ate we went back to their home for an afternoon of visiting and reminiscing. It was a wonderful visit that we look forward to doing again soon.

Much sympathy goes out to the family of Linda Kimich, wife of Leon Kimich, who passed away Sunday, Aug. 22. What I know about Linda the most is she was a good wife, good mother and an especially good grandmother who rarely missed any event her grandson participated in. Linda will be missed by many family and friends.
