The KBTX Food for Families Food Drive is Wednesday, Dec. 6. Donations will be accepted in Grimes County at Midsouth Electric in Navasota from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Historic Downtown Navasota presents their fourth annual holiday sip and shop Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The City of Plantersville’s annual Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. Parade route begins at the Plantersville- Stoneham Fire Department. The annual community Christmas party will follow.

The festivities include a Farmers Market, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., photos with Santa, 1-5 p.m., children’s Christmas fun, 1-5 p.m., Christmas parade, 6 p.m. and the City Hall tree lighting after the parade.
