•The 42nd Plantersville-Stoneham VFD Bazaar and BBQ will be held April 7. A barbecue dinner will start at 11 a.m. Tickets for raffles are $5 each or five for $20.

•St Matthews Missionary Baptist Church on FM 149 and FM 1488 in Magnolia is inviting all choirs, soloists and praise dancers to be a part of the gospel play, The Old Ship of Zion.
