Strengthening Families of the Brazos Valley hosts Grimes County Back to School Health & Safety Day Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Grimes County Fairgrounds, 2550 FM 3455 Rd. in Navasota.
Last year over 400 Grimes County residents attended the event and over 200 backpacks were provided for school-aged children.
The free event features food, fun, health screenings, safety tips, giveaways and everything parents need to get children ready for the new school year.
