Navasota Examiner Publisher Ana Cosino promotes Grimes County Relay for Life by making the first cut on Steve Austin’s hair. Austin, owner of The Computer Specialist in downtown Navasota has grown his hair out for two-years in preparation of his donation to “Wigs for Kids.” Cosino cut the first 12-inches and Ana Contreras of Klassy Shears in Navasota applied the finishing touches to have Austin looking sharp.

Contreras will give free haircuts at the Grimes County Relay for Life to anyone wanting to donate to Wigs for Kids. Join the celebration of life at the Grimes County Relay for Life Friday, April 26, at Brule Field from 6 p.m. till 1 a.m. Find a complete list of events in this week’s Relay for Life special section.
