The Examiner to receive VATAT award

CORPUS CHRISTI- In honor of the commitment The Examiner newspaper provides to agricultural science and technical education, the Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association is awarding The Examiner the Outstanding Newspaper Award during the annual VATAT Professional Development Conference held in Corpus Christi July 28 through Aug. 2.

The Examiner was nominated for the Outstanding Newspaper Award by Stacy Cosby of Anderson-Shiro ISD, who is a member of VATAT.

An award ceremony will take place at the VTAT Area Meeting Tuesday, July 30, at the American Bank Center beginning at 1:15 p.m. in room 225 C.
