GCHC attends historical training

The Grimes County Historical Commission attended training at the 1st Baptist Church in Tomball Saturday, Oct. 5. The training featured new information on surveying and preserving historic sites, as well as offered commissions from around the area to offer best practice discussions. Chairman Al Peeler was featured as one of the guest speakers and discussed new committees and upcoming events in Grimes County. GCHC was recognized as one of the larger groups present with a total of 10 members in attendance.
