Library hosts “Soldier Talks”

Janis Frenzel, of Grimes County VFW Post 4006 Auxiliary, and American Legion Commander Steve Storey, presented at the “Soldier Talks” event at Navasota Public Library. Commander Storey spoke about the history of the U.S. Flag, the meaning of the stars and stripes and demonstrated how to properly fold the flag. Frenzel discussed veterans, different branches of service, Buddy Poppies, what a veteran is and more. Each child also received their own flag. The youngest attendee was Kohen Lawrence.
