Amanda Lynn Tomkivits, 36, of Stoneham, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10, 2019, from injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident in Montgomery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11323 County Road 304 in Stoneham. A parish rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward C. Kucera Jr. as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Tomkivits, Cameron Grant, Justin Armatys, Casey Deleon, Ryan Hewitt and Dayriss McGinty.

Amanda was born Sept. 20, 1982, in Brenham, to Sharon Tomkivits. A lifelong resident of Stoneham, Amanda was a rural mail carrier with the Navasota Post Office. She was on her way to do what she loved most – to play bingo, when the accident happened. During football season, she cheered on her favorite team, the Texans. Amanda always looked forward to spending time with family and friends and “girl’s night out.” The true love of her life was her daughter, Jadyn.

Amanda was preceded in death by her PaPa, William Tomkivits, and godmother, Barbara Bohack Heinrich.

Survivors include her loving partner, Jeff Podraza and their daughter, Jadyn Lynn Podraza, both of Stoneham; her parents, Sharon and Randy Kroll of Stoneham; sisters, Chasity Tomkivits of Stoneham and Corbin Mock of Montgomery; brother Randy Kroll and wife Shelly of Palestine; nieces, Serenity Ethridge of Stoneham, Ava Mock-Stultz of Montgomery, Kaylee Kroll of Conroe and Kennedi and Kendall Kroll of Palestine; her grandmother, Frances Tomkivits of Stoneham along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
