Donald Wayne Lemon, 80, passed away at home on Jan. 15, 2024, in Plantersville, TX.
Don is survived by his wife Billie Lemon; daughter, Emily Priesmeyer and husband Jason Priesmeyer; daughter, Sarah Hart; son, Kyle Lemon and wife Cendra Lemon; granddaughter Caroline Funderburg and husband Clay Funderburg; granddaughter, Natalie Blanchard and husband Jordan Blanchard; granddaughters, Madeleine Hart and Sophie Priesmeyer; grandsons, Glenn Lemon and Morgan Lemon; sister, Verlyn Bounds; and niece, Janice Thomas.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Lemon, and mother, Rosa Lemon.
Don Lemon served on many different organizations throughout his lifetime, including, Navasota ISD school board, numerous volunteer positions at Montgomery United Methodist Church, Grimes County Appraisal Review Board, and a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge.
After 30 years with State Farm Insurance, Don retired and enjoyed raising cattle and lending a helping hand to all of his neighbors. Everyone who knew him has a story to tell about how he helped them and served his community.
The service for Donald Lemon will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Montgomery United Methodist Church.
