Connie’s Corner When my youngest son was in college, he gave me some often unusual but always interesting books for Christmas. One of my favorites, Two Old Women by Velma Wallis, is about a starving, migrating tribe of Alaskan natives that leaves two elderly women alone in the cold to die.
