Lady Rattler strikers earn all-district

Examiner photo by Matthew Ybarra Navasota Lady Rattlers garnished several all-district honors, with 10 players receiving recognition.
The Navasota Lady Rattler soccer team had a successful season advancing to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
It was no surprise that the Lady Rattlers were well represented once the District 25-4A All-District teams were announced.
Senior Maria Rocha took home defensive player of the year and freshman Elora Alexander was named freshman of the year,
Maritza Puebla a junior, and senior Brianna Rodriguez each earned first team honors.
Earning second team honors are seniors Johanna Trejo, Fatima Paz Orduna and freshman Elizabeth Trejo.
Rounding out the list with honorable mention honors are senior Blanca Aguayo, freshman Princess Rodriguez and sophomore Mariela Varges.
