Lady Rattlers defeat Normangee

Navasota swept Normangee Nov. 14, with the Lady Rattler varsity and junior varsity teams each picking up wins over the Lady Panthers.

Navasota (3-1) picked up a 46-40 win. Bryanna Stokes paced the Lady Rattlers with 14 points, six steals and six assists. Rihanna Rush added nine points and three steals. Jalyn Williams had five steals.

The Lady Rattler JV improved to 4-2 on the season with an 18-13 win over Normangee.

Both Lady Rattler teams began Thanksgiving week consecutive days of games. Navasota traveled to 6A Waller Monday, Nov. 20, and hosted Trinity Nov. 21 (results were not available by the press deadline).

Navasota will host Giddings Tuesday, Nov. 28, with tipoff schedule for 4:30 p.m. for the JV and varsity at 5:45 p.m.
