Owls host Becker Best

ANDERSON – Iola’s Lindsey Gooch added another medal to her collection, winning the Becker Best Cross Country Meet in Anderson Wednesday, Sept.

21, with a time of 14 minutes flat. Other Grimes County notable finishers in the varsity girls division included:

11th Place, Alysson Bustamante (15:38) 20th Place, Kyleigh Johnson (16:16) and

24th Place, Yesenia Gomez

(16:29). Navasota and Anderson- Shiro each had two top-

25 finishers in varsity boys. Navasota finished 12th and

13th. Rodrigo Hernandez

(21:36), Irroel Yarez (21:42). The Owls finished 19th and

20th. Luis Hernandez (22:11), Ethan Theriot (22:21).
