Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere at fall event!

While the temperatures don’t feel like autumn yet, Navasota First Presbyterian Church’s Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch Saturday, Oct. 8, helped residents get in the spirit of the season! Attendees enjoyed games, music, baked goods, photo booths and face-painting provided by Navasota’s newest artist in residence, Sara Nevius. A popular event which drew many onlookers and participants was the corn eating contest. The pumpkin patch is open daily through Oct. 31, at the corner of Nolan and Holland streets. Proceeds will be donated to Christian Community Center in Navasota.
