The Richards Lady Panthers defeated High Island 3-0 (25-7, 27-25, 25-19) to earn the 1A Region IV Area Championship. Richards battled Neches in the 1A Region IV Regional Quarterfinals in Buffalo Tuesday, Nov. 8 (results were not available at press time). The winner plays the McMullen County vs San Perlita winner.
