Read moreNavasota residents Lillian and Johnny Wesley were honored in the May 2020 issue of The Ringer, the magazine of the Texas Horseshoe Pitchers Association, THPA, thetexasringer.com. The couple was spotlighted to honor their skills, sportsmanship and longtime association with the South Central Horseshoe Club in Bryan. They have traveled around Texas representing the Club in games and tournaments. Johnny, the recipient of many plaques and trophies, will receive his 10-year patch in an October ceremony. Lillian has been scorekeeper. She and other family members have provided food, raffle items, and whatever was needed to support the club.
