Navasota varsity girls’ powerlifters finished second at Lake Creek Feb. 15, with stronge finishes by several lifters. The Navasota Lady Rattlers opened the season with a 10-0 loss to the Montgomery Lady Bears Feb. 14. Navasota’s young team started two seniors, one junior, three sophomores and three freshmen. Sophia Trejo pitched a strong game in her first outing. Mahayla Ybarra tracks a ball in centerfield for the out. COLUMBUS - The Navasota High School Golf team competed in the Columbus Invitational Feb. 13-14.
The Rattler Boys placed second as a team with a score of 368, behind Flatonia who scored 363. Competing for Navasota were Anden Nobles, Gio Jennings, Hudson Minor, Camden Dacus and Aaron Pratho. Competing as medalists for Navasota were Jullian Jennings and Jason Magee.Read more

The Lady Owls tipped-off against the Van Vleck Lady Leopards Feb. 14, at Sealy High School (results were not available at press time). The winner advances to the Area Round to face the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves. The Timberwolves defeated East Chambers 46-26, on Feb. 13.Read more
Navasota Soccer is on goal with where they want to be to begin District 20-4A competition, winning their first two games.
After two years of being defeated by Royal, The Rattlers opened with a 4-2 win over the Falcons. Navasota followed the win with a huge 6-1 victory over Harmony.

ANDERSON – Navasota High School powerlifters earned multiple top finishes during the Anderson-Shiro Powerlifting Meet Feb. 7 and 9.
Two Rattler lifters placed first, Tyler Sierra and Chance Risner. Nicholas Hernandez and Drew Chavez each placed second. Dario Luna placed third.
