Armadillos are digging in my yard and I have holes everywhere. The Robbins family have come over several times to set a trap to try and catch that varmint. Even though we have not been successful I still have high hopes. I am very blessed to live in Whitehall amongst these helpful neighbors.
My two granddaughters are more accident prone than the three grandsons combined. Bree now has a smashed broken finger due to getting it caught in a car door. The plastic surgeon indicated that it should heal on its own without additional medical attention. I finally made a road trip to go see them and the only thing bothering her is that she cannot practice her competitive cheering.

As I was looking at the birthdays for this posting, I was reminded that my youngest daughter will be the big 40 this year. That means that Jodi, Kodi and Joni all catch up with Sharon!
National Day of Prayer was May 7. Keeping with tradition, the event was held at the Grimes Veterans of Foreign War Post 4006 again. The change was that people met on the parking lot in front of the flag pole, six feet apart. Even though the helicopters and planes flew above the crowd, it was good to see people meet and pray together. I would like to offer my thanks to those people who took the time to attend.
Please continue to keep our sick and homebound friends on our prayer list. These friends include Sue Kolojaco, Dorothy Mahaffey, Mary Bauer, Rosa Finke, Lois Bell, Kathy Cave Wells, Pauline Kaspar, Pastor David Schulze, Jean Fleischhauer, Michelle Guajardo, sister of Billy Robbins, and Alexander Hanna. Please add these friends to your prayer list.
