Mr. Kenneth W Brown, 84, of Conroe, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, April 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was born to Roy Arnum and Sarah Carolyn (Tabor) Brown in Gatesville, Texas, on February 5, 1939. His family moved to Navasota in 1948. After high school graduation he served in the United States Army from 1958-1962.

Kenneth met his wife Reba Lou Churchwell after he returned home, and they were married on April 12, 1963. He worked for General Electric in Houston for all 37 years of his engineering career, retiring in 1999 and spending the rest of his years in the Lake Conroe area.

Kenneth frequently told stories about his service in Germany. He was an avid gardener and frequently gave away his bountiful crops, usually with a joke or two thrown in as he truly enjoyed humor. He was funny and known for his clever wit. Kenneth also enjoyed being a grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy A. and S. Carolyn Brown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Ann and Edward Borgman, Glynda June and Malcolm Meekins, Betty Sue and Charlie Ketchum and Diana Kay Brown; and son-n-law Jeffrey Bush.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 60 years Reba Lou Brown; his son Kendall W Brown; daughter Rhonda L Bush; granddaughter and husband Shelby Lynn and Nicholas Baratti, granddaughter Aungelique Reasoner; great grandchildren Grace, Jack, and William Baratti; and many nieces and nephews.
