Glechoma hederacea — Treated tinnitus, ‘lead-colic’ and ‘ache in the huckle bone’

Glechoma hederacea, ground ivy or creeping charlie, is a Eurasian native that has naturalized in most of the U.S. It isn’t really an ivy but grows like one. Creeping along the ground with a square stem, the plant can be up to 16 inches long. It’s difficult to know the length until it’s ready to flower and growth becomes vertical. After flowering, the stems bend down, root at the nodes and resume horizontal growth.
