Grimes County Commissioners began 2024 with a light agenda dominated by the Road & Bridge Department at its Jan. 3 Regular Meeting. Commissioners approved County Engineer Jon Steiber’s requests to extend a Special Road Use Agreement with Black and McDonald for CR 178 and Special Road Use Permits for both Key Capture Energy, LLC and Ortiz USA, LLC. All three items relate to renewable energy facilities in Pct. 1.
