Residents and friends gathered at the Bedias Community Center Thursday, Dec. 12 to express their appreciation to outgoing Pct. 1 Constable Dale Schaper for 20 years of service to their community. The reception concluded with Bedias Mayor Gwen Boullion’s heartfelt proclamation which paid homage to Schaper’s 50-plus year career in law enforcement – 20 of which as the Pct.1 constable.
