Read moreGrimes County Crime Stoppers presented the “traveling” Officer of the Year plaque to Navasota Police Chief Mike Mize at the Feb. 13 Navasota City Council meeting. The plaque recognizes the Officers of the Year and their respective law enforcement agencies since 2015 when the custom began. NPD Investigator Travis Mullins was named Officer of the Year for 2022 at the Grimes County Crime Stoppers Law Enforcement Awards Dinner Jan. 28. The plaque will reside with NPD through the end of 2023.
