It was a dominant performance by the Navasota Lady Rattler Softball team in a run-rule shortened 15-0 decision over the Royal Lady Falcons Thursday, April 1 during Grimes County Little League Night at Ira Floyd Field in Navasota.
The game lasted only three innings with senior pitcher Emily Ripkoski striking out eight of the nine batters she faced and retiring all nine in order. At the plate she was one of three Lady Rattlers to hit a long ball going a perfect three-for-three with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Trinity Loukanis belted two homeruns, one over the wall and one inside the park. Bella Dobijanski hit the final longball for the Lady Rattlers.
Navasota totaled 10 hits and 12 RBIs in the game.
The Lady Rattlers will travel to Sealy Friday, April 9 to take on the Lady Tigers.
