He led a variety of songs, most of which were new to us. He then brought an inspiring message. Following the service lunch was served in the fellowship hall. There were a good number of members and visitors present and they all were blessed being around each other.

Read moreA good number attended the graveside service for Kevin Blake McDuffie at Evergreen Cemetery Wednesday, Sept. 8. He passed away Sept. 1, after a short illness in the Tomball Hospital. He was the son of Pam Johnson who survives him. He is also survived by his wife Kristi, several grandchildren, his grandmother Ima Myrle Burns McDuffie and several aunts and uncles. Remember all of them in your prayers.

Read moreThe Lady Panthers Volleyball team won the Navasota Freshman Tournament hosted by NISD. The team consisting of a mixture of 12 junior high to senior aged players, played hard throughout the tournament. Prior to the NISD Freshman tournament, the Lady Panthers competed at NISD in the varsity tournament, bringing home second place in the silver bracket. The ladies will compete again in the Navasota Junior High Tournament Saturday, Sept. 25.
